Conference at the Universitat Autònoma

We have recently given a new class about “Audiodescription in museums” to the students of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona enroled in the Master’s Degree in Audiovisual Translation. This time the conference –one hour and a half duration– was recorded in order to be included in the Faculty channel. Click on the image if you want to see the video.

The Guidelines for describing visual art, the source being those from Art Beyond Sight, were discussed and analysed together with several examples of verbal descriptions, some in English and some in Spanish and Catalan.
