Panel discussion about Accessible Tourism

On 3rd December, Turisme de Barcelona and the Agència Catalana de Turisme organised the panel discussion “Accessible Tourism in Barcelona and Catalonia” as part of World Disability Day.  The event was held in English at the Hotel Crowne Plaza Barcelona and more than 100 professionals from the tourism sector attended.

The discussion was moderated by the journalist Maria-José Anía, and taking part were Annagrazia Laura, president of the European Network for Accessible Tourism; Catherine Mack, from the British tour operator Responsible Travel; Daniela Rubio, a digital accessibility consultant and seasoned traveller; the British blogger Martyn Sibley; and Julià Montero, from the incoming travel agency Barcelona Zero Limits.
